Rightwell’s standard GLP-1 treatment requires a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 25 or higher.
If you don’t meet this BMI requirement, you may still qualify for treatment through Microdosing, as long as you meet all other health and safety criteria reviewed by a clinician.
Microdosing with Rightwell
When you don’t qualify for regular GLP-1 dosing based on BMI, a Rightwell clinician may approve you for a Microdosing plan.
With Microdosing:
A clinician first confirms that you meet all medical and safety requirements
Your dose remains the same throughout the duration of the treatment
You still receive the key benefits of GLP-1 therapy, similar to a regular dosing plan
Microdosing is designed to provide a gentler, stable dose while still supporting appetite control, weight management, and metabolic health—when clinically appropriate.
⚕️ Final approval for Microdosing is always made by a licensed clinician after reviewing your health profile.
Microdosing for Maintenance
Microdosing is not only for patients who don’t meet the BMI 25 at the start. It can also be recommended as a maintenance option when:
You’ve already reached your weight loss or health goals, and
You and your clinician want to help you stay on track with a lower, steady dose
In these cases, Microdosing can help support long-term stability while minimizing unnecessary dose increases.
How to See If You Qualify
Start by completing the standard assessment on https://www.rightwell.com/.
If you don’t meet the BMI requirement, your case may be reviewed for Microdosing eligibility.
A licensed clinician will evaluate your health profile and decide whether Microdosing is a safe and appropriate option.
If you’re already a patient and want to ask about Microdosing or maintenance:
Log in to your patient portal: https://app.rightwell.com/login
Go to Messages or contact your doctor
Ask your clinician if Microdosing or a maintenance plan is right for you
Your clinician will review your goals, progress, and overall health to recommend the best path forward.
