How Dose Changes Work with Rightwell

Created by Rightwell Consultant, Modified on Tue, 25 Nov, 2025 at 10:45 AM by Rightwell Consultant

At Rightwell, your assigned clinician creates a personalized treatment and dosing schedule based on:

  • Your health profile and medical history

  • Your weight loss and health goals

  • Your GLP-1 medication preference

  • Any previous experience you’ve had with GLP-1 medications

Because GLP-1 medications affect each person differently, any change in dose should always be guided by your clinician.

When to Request a Dose Review

You may want to request a dosing review if:

  • You’d like to slow down your dose increases (for example, due to side effects or sensitivity).

  • You feel ready to speed up your dose increases (when medically appropriate).

  • You have questions about your results, side effects, or how you’re feeling on your current dose.

Your clinician will review your situation and decide if a dose change is safe and appropriate.

⚠️ Important: Do not change your dose on your own. Always wait for guidance from your clinician.

How to Request a Dose Change

All dosing questions and dose-change requests are handled through your secure patient portal.

  1. Go to https://app.rightwell.com/login

  2. Log in with your Rightwell account credentials.

  3. Open the Messages or Contact your doctor section.

  4. Send a message to your assigned clinician and include:

    • That you’d like to review your dose

    • Whether you want to slow down, maintain, or speed up your schedule

    • Any symptoms, side effects, or concerns you’re experiencing

Your clinician will review your message, your health profile, and your treatment progress, then respond with recommended next steps.

Safety Reminder

If you experience severe side effects, sudden worsening of symptoms, or anything that feels like an emergency, do not wait for a portal response:

  • Call 911 or your local emergency number, or

  • Go to the nearest emergency room immediately.

For non-emergency questions about your dose, the patient portal is always the best place to contact your clinician.
